The computer is a powerful multifunctional tool which doesn’t serve creating an end product, but also to help you earn how this is done. There are different educational applications such as X-PianoBooster, this one aiming to boost your note recognition and playing speed through an interactive environment.
Can be used on the go
One of the application’s main advantages is portability, letting you carry it on a thumb drive to use it on other computers besides your own. This also means that the target computer’s registry entries don’t get affected.
You can benefit from what the application has to offer in several ways. For instance, you can hook up a MIDI device for more efficient lessons, but you also need to properly configure input and output devices from the settings panel. It also works without an external device, with the possibility to interact with the keyboard.
Input and playback controls
If the device is an optional requirement, the application has little to no purpose without a song. It accepts MIDI and KAR files as input, with all parts shown in a dedicated table. Moreover, the staves automatically update with the note representation, and you can start interacting to see if you can hit the right notes.
For a quick warm up, you can enable the listening mode which plays the loaded song at a specific speed and under custom keys. You can adjust speed, transpose, and set the starting point. Additionally, you can choose to play and let the application track you, or to play along. Song details are displayed at the press of a button, with an option to mute playback when you’re interacting.
A few last words
To sum it up, X-PianoBooster is a practical, flexible application which can come in handy for learning how to read notes, and play the piano, especially with a connected MIDI device. Multiple modes of operation are at your disposal, with easy interaction and an intuitive design overall.

In February 2011, an official Second Life blog post suggested that second life was coming to a close. The blog included a banner of “SecondLifeIsFree.com” which was up until the filing of the lawsuit linked to domain registrar Endgame.
The plaintiff, according to the lawsuit, “believed that her use of the SecondLifeIsFree.com domain was protected because the website was believed to be, and was represented to be, a publicly accessible website. Plaintiff believed that as a Second Life user she was allowed to register the SecondLifeIsFree.com domain name. Plaintiff relied on
