Sony Visual Communication Camera Vgp-vcc2 Driver Vista
drivers for vgn-sz230p.when i try to run the driver with “device manager”, it tells me the hardware cannot be found, but it was listed in the Sony VAIO driver software list, anybody can help to fix this problem?
purchased the vaio TZ17, never realized that it had a visual communication camera, immediately thinking of buying a webcam to use for skype, when I saw another person’s post mentioning drivers for the vaio tz17, i went to download them and sure enough, it had them, but it wasn’t picking up the camera. you guys don’t have any websites or anything in europe that has drivers for visual communication cameras, do you?. please email me at [email protected]….
Hi Guys, i have Leopard 10.5.2 (iatkos) single boot on a Vaio TZ17 and the webcam never worked… i looked around a long time trying to find a working driven but then I realized that the issue is not with the driver itself but with the camera microcode.
Added the driver that the webcam works with on the first comment by going back to my original post as all of the other comments just said that the webcam isn’t working. While all the comments that I read mentioned that they are 10.5.6, but I’m running 10.5.8, if you still have this issue it might be fixed in the new updates. Not sure if this would be considered a hot fix or not but it has a checkmark at this time. I still have this issue running 10.5.8! Also if you restart the computer after the driver installation you have to go back to 10.5.8 or more! No restart and go back to 9.6.2. I gave it a few updates and still no luck! I go to System Information, then USB Support, USB Camera Support, USB Printers, and USB Cameras and check off if it finds a camera. I then restart and a message box comes up saying that the device is ready to use and there are no drivers for this camera, I choose restart and the leopard loading screen comes up as it did before the driver installation.
