Next, your work area is organized in layers, optimally in a way conducive to your workflow. Even children seem to embrace it, I’ve seen plenty of photogs marvel at the toolset’s ease.

In previous versions of Photoshop (though they were alphas and betas for years rather than the well-tested stable versions you see today), you had to use a separate “Camera RAW” plug-in to process an image in a RAW format. I’m pleased to report that the Camera RAW plug-in is based on Photoshop and works flawlessly with it. However, you still need to make the first navigation selection up top for the display of image information, such as resolution, color mode selections, etc. It could have been done differently. But after reading about all the new navigation functions available in Lightroom, I decided to try a different approach. I selected “image adjustments” from the top panel tool and navigated to “Camera RAW” from the bottom of my list. I appreciate this because I know that the “Camera RAW” is the “RAW” (no pun intended) format is available throughout Photoshop.

How important is it to have the best/cheapest/most expensive etc camera?
On the surface, camera market is quite competitive. However, when it comes to advanced features and data transferring speed, there is actually really little difference between a decent camera and a good camera. Nowadays the main difference is mainly in the lens quality and ease of shooting. If you are an enthusiast or if you like to shoot sports, then you’ll need to invest in a good DLSR. If you just want to take some pretty pictures on the weekend or you just want to create enjoyable memories, you can save yourself a good deal and even shoot some pretty good pictures in a decent camera.

How important is it to have a big/small camera?
One important thing to keep in mind is that a bigger body can take better pictures of a subject as long as you carry the right lens and it’s not too difficult to use it.
