GroupDocs Viewer for .NET provides users with a handy library that can be integrated within their projects to improve their functions.
Once correctly configured, the .NET component can be used as PDF viewer, while also providing support for Word and Excel files.
The library can be integrated in Visual Studio 2010/2012 projects.
* Customize your solution files (e.g. xxx.sln) to include the required libraries.
* Compile the solution, which will allow you to use the Viewer within your Visual Studio solution.
* The resulting dll is separated into 2 locations:
1. Assembly is copied into a folder called Viewer in the Bin/Debug directory of your Visual Studio solution.
2. Viewer.exe (PDFLib.Viewer) is located into your Visual Studio bin/debug directory.
This is a great time to test your Viewer using the GroupDocs SDK samples.
* To retrieve the GroupDocs SDK, select the Viewer project in the Solution, right-click on the solution name, and select “Manage NuGet Packages.”
* Within the “Manage NuGet Packages” dialog, select the “Reference” tab, and search for GroupDocs.
* When the GroupDocs SDK is found, select it for installation, and then press “Install.”
NOTE: This installs the GroupDocs SDK into the “User” group in the solution folder.
* After installing the GroupDocs SDK, the SDK can be used with your program by referencing the “GroupDocs.Viewer.winmd” assembly.
* For more information on this package, check out its supported packages list here:
* Enjoy GroupDocs Viewer for.NET with this library!

Today I would like to talk about some interesting news and about one of the recent updates in GroupDocs Viewer for.NET.
GroupDocs Viewer for.NET
Two new features are part of GroupDocs Viewer for.NET recently released.
Fix a bug that could let users on a certain network get an error message that said something like
This may be caused by your anti-virus software detecting the GroupDocs Viewer for.NET as a virus and or as a Trojan that you can get in some package from our distribution list. Please check your settings and make sure you have disabled the following (Software from antivirus Program) through the Help / About Page, so the GroupDocs Viewer for.NET can be used without any issues on your computer.
The problem was caused by a string in the source code that used an unicode character that corresponded to a given emoji in the software’s string resources. This error message was not displayed on Windows 7, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10.
The unicode character was used as an error message template that could be referenced from the GroupDocs Viewer for.NET dialog shown on users.
The first version of GroupDocs Viewer for.NET saw the light of the day on October 19, 2013 and was immediately released to the public.
The last update was released on April 20, 2015 and is tagged as version 3.0.1. You can download the update file here.
This update contains some small issues that were already fixed since the first release.
These include:
Compiling errors
Some minor issues with the Community page
In addition, some unicode characters in the strings have been changed or removed.
The unicode character that triggered the above mentioned error message has been replaced with a simpler emoji (Circle).

VbCover 3.0.1.52 VbCover is a.NET component that can be used to
quickly and easily incorporate the functionality of a set of
optional.NET libraries into your C# or VB.NET applications. The
project was originally developed to simplify.NET developers
experience of the Microsoft.NET library functions, but its use is
not limited to this task.

Introduction
VbCover is a.NET framework library, which helps to simplify the
tasks of ordinary.NET developers. It allows the developers to quickly
and easily incorporate the functionality of a set of optional.NET
libraries into their applications. VbCover is the first open source
library that was ever built with the sole purpose of helping.NET
developers.
VbCover to include optional.NET libraries into your applications
A custom.NET library (i.e..NET libraries you have created
yourself) can be automatically incorporated into your application
without actually modifying the code of your applications. This is
achieved by manually creating a configuration file for your
application, and then by manually copying and pasting the
corresponding script into a configuration file, for your
application.
Microsoft Visual Studio
With the usage of VbCover,.NET developers have many
functionality improvements at their disposal. VbCover is a framework
extension of Visual Studio 2010, which helps.NET developers to
easily create their own customized libraries, which can then be
incorporated into their projects in order to improve their
functionality.
Get Started
In order to get started with VbCover, you first need to
get VbCover. Install it to your computer by downloading and running
the.MSI file that is included with the library.
Once installed, you can either:
From your application’s context menu, select View -> GroupDocs.
From a Visual Studio solution, right click on the project, and select View -> GroupDocs from the context menu.
In order to see the functionality of VbCover, it is recommended that
you:
