AutoCAD Crack for Windows was first released on December 12, 1982. It was originally available as AutoCAD Professional for Windows; its successor is AutoCAD LT for Windows. AutoCAD LT was initially available in three versions: Professional, Student and Design Review, with the latter two sharing the same price and subscription terms.
The original price of AutoCAD Professional for Windows was $495 for one PC with an internal monitor and $795 for a two-person PC with a video adapter card.
In 1992, the price was doubled to $1295 for the single-user version and $2495 for the two-user version. The price was increased again in 1998 to $2995 for one user, $4995 for two users and $12,995 for four users, and again in 2006 to $10,995 for one user, $19,995 for two users and $39,995 for four users. As of 2013, the price is $20,995 for one user, $29,995 for two users and $49,995 for four users. The product and price is continually adjusted to account for inflation.
On September 7, 2010, AutoCAD LT Professional was released for the iPad.
In June 2013, Autodesk introduced AutoCAD iOS and Android apps, which run on tablets and smartphones.

The MESH function enables the creation of 3D surfaces in AutoCAD drawings. The input mesh can be used to create as many 3D surfaces as required. There are many shapes that can be used to create a 3D model. The most basic are named Line, Circle and Curve. For these shapes, the surface is just a flat line, circle or curve. Polyline is the 3D equivalent of polygon. Polyline has a number of sub-types, which include Polyline, Polyline Spline, Polyline Adaptive, Polyline Adaptive Spline and Polyline Adaptive. The type of polyline is determined by the number of sides on the polyline. Surface can be created by any combination of the basic shapes (Line, Circle and Curve). A polyline is typically created by inserting 3D solids or moving 2D solids. Polyline and Surface are therefore the most commonly used shapes.
Text Blocks is a graphical way to visualize information, and to display or combine pieces of text. It was introduced in Autodesk AutoCAD 2007 and is available since 2009. The block size is customizable and users can create their own. They are used in a similar way as text.
Texten is a graphing tool for generating text for any size font.

Tabs allows a user to open multiple drawing tabs. These tabs can be used to edit drawings and can be split and merged at any time.
