find model that fits a curve with a specific number of points
Assume that I have a model, or a set of data points, that I’ve fit with some curve
(just an arbitrary function). Now I need to fit a function that has 3 points, or maybe more.
How can I do this efficiently?
My first idea was to set all points equal to each other, but for this to work, you must know the function $f(x)$ exactly, and the points in between that will be equal.
I was thinking of some interpolation, but I don’t know how to do it or where to start. I could use a spline, but this will require extra parameters, and I don’t know what kind of smoothness I’ll need.
By using polynomials, I would choose those that are orthogonal
Now that your Autodesk license has been activated, you can go to the Autocad part of your Autodesk main menu and click “Activate”.
Click the “Internet” icon and select Autodesk web connect.
Click “Autocad Web Connector”
Click on “Autocad”, wait for it to connect and launch the software.
You can now do what you need to do and when you’re done, close the application.
If you click on the “Internet” icon again, you should now be able to close the application.
How to use the trial version
Click on the Help button and then the link entitled “How to use a trial version of Autodesk Autocad” on the bottom of the menu
Follow the instructions to activate your Autodesk trial license.
Launch the application and open the drawing. You should have all your customizations that you had with your previous license.
When you are done, click on the “X” in the upper left corner.
