The original release of AutoCAD was a Desk Top Modeling program that displayed the objects in a viewport that was a 320 x 240 pixels square, in other words, approximately 508 x 400 points, and the user could zoom in and out using the arrow keys on the keyboard, but no rotation or panning was available.
In 1986, AutoCAD LT was released and was the first AutoCAD release that included 2D, 3D and architectural features, with a C++ native user interface. It also introduced the ability to create and use layers, allowing the user to work in two dimensions, but still see the 3D view behind the 2D layers.
As far as the users go, the first release of AutoCAD LT was a fully functional and feature-rich CAD system. However, the user interface was not intuitive and difficult to learn for many users. The window controls were clustered at the top of the screen and were not in a logical order for the left and right handed users. For instance, the commands for opening the drawing, creating layers, aligning objects, and others had to be clicked with the mouse before they could be used.
In the 1989 release of AutoCAD, the user interface was much improved and was geared toward the left handed users by moving the majority of the window controls to the left side of the screen. With this release, AutoCAD became the first truly “mouse CAD” program. Users could click, drag and drop any object or control and use the arrow keys to move the cursor around the screen.

Severe iron deficiency develops in patients on maintenance hemodialysis and can result in complications such as microcytic, hypochromic anemia and impaired erythropoiesis. We studied the contribution of metabolic iron loss to serum ferritin, the concentration of iron and percent transferrin saturation in 10 patients with end-stage renal disease undergoing maintenance hemodialysis. We also measured levels of 2,3-diphosphoglycerate, lactate and hemoglobin in the erythrocytes, and of 2,3-diphosphoglycerate, HbA1c, hemoglobin, sodium and potassium in the plasma of these patients. Severe iron deficiency was defined as a serum ferritin less than 20 micrograms/L and a percent transferrin saturation less than 10%. We found that in patients with severe iron deficiency there was a significant decrease in both 2,3-diphosphoglycerate in the erythrocytes and 2,3-diphosphoglycerate in the plasma. There was also a significant decrease in lactate in both the erythrocytes and plasma. No changes were found in hemoglobin or potassium, while there was a significant increase in plasma sodium. We conclude that severe iron deficiency in patients on maintenance hemodialysis is associated with significant decreases in 2,3-diphosphoglycerate in the erythrocytes, 2,3-diphosphoglycerate in the plasma and lactate in the erythrocytes and plasma. Run the Autocad and choose File->AppSettings.
At the left panel, choose API.
Click on “Edit”.
In the opened window, enter your path. It will be “C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Autocad.
A “trusted” certificate file will be created and the path will look like “C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Autocad\certificate.pfx”.
Save the file.
Now, you have the certificate.pfx file.
You need to extract the password from the certificate. The password is the one you used while registering in Autodesk.
Open the certificate with a software like certificate exporter.
On the resulting window, select the password option.
Save the exported certificate file.
Now you have the password in a.txt file.
Move the “certificate.pfx” and the.txt file in the same folder.
Open the AppSettings -> Autocad.
On the left panel, select API.
On the opened panel, select “Certificate”
In the “CACertificate” field, enter the password you have created with the cert export.
In the “CertificatePassword” field, enter the password you have used when registering in Autocad.
You are done. You have the Autocad certificate.
Note 1: This process is not for the first time you launch Autocad.
Note 2: You need to test this code if you can add the certificate. Otherwise, you must create a new certificate and enter the new certificate details.
